Let’s Talk About Sex (and Games)
The inaugural Sex in Video Games Conference will take place on June 8-9, 2006, at the Lodge at Union Square in San Francisco, California. The focus of the conference is on design, development, and technology of risqué video games, bringing together video game developers and adult industry professionals. The agenda features a keynote from Wired Sex Drive columnist Regina Lynn, a machinima art show (erotic art and movies derived from video games), as well as lectures and panel discussions with members of both industries. Kathee Brewer, editor of AVN Online, is also scheduled to speak. She will join Dr. P. Sandor Gardos of MyPleasure.com in a discussion, moderated by Jeb Havens, entitled "Integrating the Adult & Game Markets."Brewer, who has 11 years of adult industry experience, commented, "I'm honored to be invited to participate in the first Sex in Video Games Conference. There are some really exciting developments occurring on that front; I've been watching them with great interest for a couple of years now. Both gaming and adult entertainment are multi-billion dollar industries, and the nexus of the two of them is an exciting place to be."AVN Online is a trade journal for digital content in the adult entertainment industry. It is a part of the AVN Media Network, considered the leading independent authority in adult entertainment. Last week, AVN Online announced that it will be the Premier Media Sponsor for the Sex in Video Games Conference. With its participation, the company brings along publicity and exposure for the conference and its underlying theme of converging video games and adult content.
