Hooters Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas will debut tomorrow at 9 p.m. with a flashy Strip opening. Hooters' patrons no longer have to limit themselves to just eating spicy chicken wings and being served by busty young women. Now, they can have the same buxom waitresses bring them their food while they're playing their favorite casino games. Hooters Casino replaces the old Hotel San Remo, which closed last year due to lack of business. Hooters Marketing Vice President Richard Lanois played down reported concerns that the new establishment would sag, like the old San Remo, saying that the titillative Hooters brand name would be sure to bring in customers. The Hooters Hotel and Casino complex has 656 hotel rooms and suites, three large stages for live entertainment, and nine restaurants and bars. The casino itself holds almost 700 slot and video poker machines, and 32 various table games such as poker, roulette, and craps.
